Big Walk supports cross-platform online play at launch. The host starts a session, the game generates a short Join Code, and friends on any announced platform can join with it.
How Join Codes work
- The host creates a party and the game generates a short Join Code.
- Friends open the join menu and enter the code — no friend-request gymnastics needed.
- Codes are session-based and generated per host session.
Buying for a mixed-platform group
- At least one copy per player is required (no guest passes at launch).
- The launch price is consistent across storefronts (about $19.99 / €18.99, with a launch-week discount on Steam).
- If your group is split between PC and console, crossplay is on by default — no extra setting needed.
Note: PS5 online play requires a PlayStation Plus subscription. Crossplay itself requires no additional setup.
