Crossplay on Switch 2
Big Walk’s join codes are fully cross-platform. A Switch 2 player can create or join a session with friends on Steam (Windows/Mac), the Mac App Store, or PS5 — the platform mix doesn’t matter. What matters:
- The host owns the save and starts the walk.
- Guests only need their own platform’s online subscription (Nintendo Switch Online for Switch 2).
- Voice chat works in-game across platforms — see our crossplay guide for setup steps.
Switch 2 performance disclosure
The cited official listings do not publish a target FPS, target resolution or a Switch 2 performance mode. Buy this version for its stated platform features and crossplay, not on the basis of an uncited 30/60 FPS claim. If performance changes after a patch, record the game version and whether the issue appears handheld or docked before comparing reports.
Switch 2 controls
Our controls guide covers the full Switch 2 button layout, including gesture-based communication. The game’s communication tools (flares, megaphones, signal flags) are mapped to face buttons and shoulder buttons — easy to reach mid-walk.
Missing on Switch 2?
